Local Privacy Statement & Statutory Non-Transmission Guarantee
The Department of Unfortunate Affairs takes civilian data privacy very seriously. Our privacy policy can be summarized in one sentence: We do not want your personal data, we do not collect your personal data, and we could not sell it even if Accounting demanded it.
STATUTORY PRIVACY GUARANTEES:
- 100% Local-First Storage: All grievance depositions, credit balances, and reward certificates reside solely inside your browser's IndexedDB partition (
BadLuckDepositDB).
- Zero Remote Transmission: No stories or personal identifying data are ever uploaded to cloud servers, external databases, or third-party telemetry collectors.
- Zero Tracking Cookies: The portal uses no advertising pixels, surveillance cookies, or tracking scripts.
- User Sovereign Data Control: Citizens may export their entire dossier as an unencrypted JSON file or wipe their local partition at any time from the Classified Records view.
Search Engine Indexing Boundary
In accordance with our strict confidentiality protocols, personal citizen filings, case histories, and wallet balances are strictly barred from search engine indexation. Only public, declassified statutory catalog definitions (such as this policy and our standard reward specifications) are indexed for public access.
