How It Works: Municipal Misfortune Filing & Remediation

The Bad Luck Deposit Center (BLDC) is the designated municipal intake authority operated by the Department of Unfortunate Affairs. Our statutory mission is simple: Your Misfortune. Our Paperwork.

Step 1: Document Your Misfortune (Form BL-1040-EZ)

Whether your toast landed butter-side down, your zipper separated on public transit, or an automatic update restarted your PC during an unsaved spreadsheet, our intake windows accept all calibers of bad luck.

STATUTORY COMPENSATION FORMULA:

Base Compensation: 1 Bad Luck Credit (BLC) per 10 characters of verified narrative complaint. Daily rewarding quota provides bonus disbursements for your initial documented claim.

Step 2: Stochastic Probability Testing (Form 404-D)

Under Directive 77-C, citizens are entitled to three (3) daily stochastic dice rolls. High rolls yield supplementary BLC disbursements. Low rolls generate certified grievance receipts signed by Clerk #404.

Step 3: Redirection & Funny Certificates (Form-FC-100)

Accumulated credits may be remitted to the Bureau of Fortune Redistribution. For 100 BLC (with one complimentary introductory cookie granted to new installations), citizens crack government-issued fortune cookies to collect:

Step 4: 100% Private Local Storage (IndexedDB)

Your grievances are completely private. All depositions, balances, and collection dossiers are preserved locally in browser IndexedDB. We never transmit your personal bad luck to cloud servers or remote databases.
